Blair
A. Jones graduated in 1988 from Franklin & Marshall College, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with a dual degree in English and Drama. He is a 1992 graduate of Lewis and Clark, Northwestern School of Law,
where he was honored with the Robert E. Jones Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, awarded each year to the outstanding law student trial advocate. While in law school, he was a member of the Moot Court
regional team, regional finalist for the Mock Trial team and served on the Moot Court Honor Board. After law school, Blair lived and worked in Junction City and Manhattan, Kansas as a Public Defender, where
he cut his teeth trying felony criminal cases on behalf of indigent clients. He later worked in private practice in Kansas before moving to Maine in 1996. Blair is admitted to practice in the State and Federal
Courts of Maine and Kansas, as well as the State Courts of Massachusetts and the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the ABA, where he serves as a
Vice-Chairman of the Commercial Transportation Committee of the Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS). A skilled trial lawyer, he has substantial trial experience in State and Federal Courts in New
England and beyond in product liability, transportation, premises liability and property and liability insurance litigation.
Blair and his wife, Marisela, live in Portland, where they enjoy hiking, biking and boating along the coast of Maine. Blair is also a musician who plays guitar, sings and has recorded a CD.
